Description
The advanced small group pickleball lessons are designed for players looking to elevate their game through focused instruction and real-time play. Classes run for 1.5 hours per session over four weeks, with a maximum of four participants per certified coach to ensure plenty of personalized feedback.
Participants should already be familiar with the rules of play and be able to execute consistently (7 out of 10 times) deep serves, deep returns, drives, dinks, and drops. Instruction will include some targeted drills, but the primary emphasis will be on game-based play, allowing the coach to provide in-game coaching on strategy, shot selection, court positioning, and decision-making.
Perfect for players ready to sharpen their skills, improve consistency, and gain a deeper understanding of effective pickleball strategy in a supportive small group setting.
Players should be at a minimum skill level of GPN 3.5+ to fully benefit from the pace and content of the lessons. The City reserves the right to remove participants if they do not meet the skill level.
Bring your own paddle. Pickleballs will be supplied. These lessons are outdoors at the Richmond Green Seasonal Pickleball Courts. Please bring water and a hat. In case of inclement weather, the class will be cancelled and a make-up class scheduled.
