Summertime Paint-Along & Tea w/ Giovanna of Young at Heart

If you’ve never picked up a paintbrush before, this workshop is for you! Bring a friend (or two!) and enjoy a relaxed introduction to painting, creating a vibrant dragonfly in joyful, bold summer hues. This step-by-step paint-along experience takes place in the charming setting of the City’s Heritage Centre, where the historic Gardenview Room and surrounding galleries provide an inspiring backdrop for creativity. Under the guidance of artist-instructor Giovanna, participants will learn basic acrylic painting techniques, including colour blending, brushwork, and composition in a supportive, no-pressure environment, culminating in a delightful light Afternoon Tea. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a completed painting and the confidence to continue exploring painting on your own. All painting tools, materials, and tea are included in the registration fee.
