Description

Find your inner whimsy in this hands-on, mixed-media, nature-inspired craft workshop with Ashley of Fuchsia and Fae. Blending folk art traditions and a touch of imagination, this half-day workshop invites participants to slow down, reconnect with nature, and create handcrafted miniature ‘fairy furniture’. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to design, build, and decorate small fairy chairs and tables using natural and found materials. Guided by the instructor, you’ll explore texture, balance, and storytelling through making, creating functional sculptural pieces that can hold crystals or small trinkets, or simply be displayed as charming works of art. Participants are welcome to bring along any small natural or meaningful items they’d like to incorporate into their designs. Those who wish may also join the instructor on a short, optional nature walk along the paved pathway behind the facility to gather inspiration and materials before beginning their work. This workshop is open to all skill levels and is perfect for anyone looking for a relaxed, imaginative, and hands-on creative experience! All tools and materials provided upon payment of $10.00 fee to instructor at workshop.
