Description

Step back in time and enjoy a relaxing, creative morning in the picturesque Gardenview Room of the Heritage Centre. In this workshop, you’ll learn to make Victorian-era puzzle cards – intricately folded paper notes, similar to origami, that unfolded in a specific sequence to reveal a hidden message – these charming cards were once used to share sentiments of love and friendship.
In this guided session, you’ll combine history, lettering, and hands-on creativity as you design your own puzzle purse card using modern script lettering and playful decorative details, culminating in a delightful light Afternoon Tea. This workshop is perfect for creatives of all levels who want to try something new and create a unique handmade card, perfect for Mother’s Day, birthdays, or any special occasion. All tools and materials provided upon payment of $15.00 fee to instructor at workshop. Registration includes light Afternoon Tea.
