Designed as a welcoming and creative experience, this half-day workshop is perfect for anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of floral design while working with fresh, seasonal blooms. Participants will be guided step-by-step through the floral design process, including flower preparation, colour and texture selection, and balanced composition. During the workshop, you’ll create your own fresh floral compote arrangement using high-quality seasonal florals. Keep your finished piece as a centrepiece for your own home, or gift it to a friend or loved one as a beautiful, handmade arrangement. You’ll also take away practical floral design skills you can continue using at home and beyond! No previous experience is required – this workshop is suitable for beginners and those looking to refine their creative skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.

All tools and materials provided upon payment of $15.00 fee to instructor at workshop. The kit includes all fresh florals, a ceramic vase, chicken wire, and floral tape. Participants will be able to use instructor-provided shears and a design turntable for the duration of the workshop. Those who wish to purchase their shears from the instructor may do so for an additional $10.00 fee.
