LSS Bronze Medallion/Cross, IFA & YRDSB High School Credit

This Aquatic Leadership Program is offered in partnership between the York Region District School Board, Continuing Education and the City of Richmond Hill. This program uses a blended learning format consisting of pool instruction, face-to-face instruction and on-line learning to deliver a Ministry of Education credit (Aquatic Leadership Program - Part 1 - Healthy Living and Aquatic Activities, PAQ2O), Lifesaving Society Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross and Intermediate First Aid with CPR/AED certifications. Participants should be prepared to go into the water bringing a bathing and towel each day.

Program pre-requisites: 13 years of age, able to swim 400 meters (without stopping, swim test to be completed in advance of the program start date), currently attending a Secondary School, complete the online school board registration through the following link:
