Description

Become an assistant instructor! The Lifesaving Society Assistant Instructor course will prepare you to help qualified instructors with swimming and lifesaving classes. It involves over 16 hours of classroom learning and in-water practise. This course is designed to introduce you to the key principles of learning and teaching motor skills while mastering basic swim progressions. Safe and effective formations and class management are also emphasized. Prerequisite: Minimum 14 years old and Bronze Cross (or NL) certification.
