Description

In our SPARK program, students in grades 1 and 2 get to roll up their sleeves and build something new every week! Designed to introduce real-world STEM skills in a fun and age-appropriate way, this program gives children the chance to work with woodworking tools, 3D printers, robotics, and coding—all while learning science and engineering concepts through hands-on projects. Each session focuses on a new STEM theme, with exciting builds that may include toys, circuits, robots, or 3D-printed designs. Along the way, children strengthen their fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, creativity, and confidence as makers. SPARK is aligned with the Ontario Science and Technology Curriculum and offers new projects every season, so there’s always something new to explore.
Note: The SPARK program offered is an introductory course and offers different projects each season. Missed classes cannot be made up.
