Description
This program focuses on leadership skills, communication and teamwork. Components covered include games, activities and team building exercises. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate and will have the skills to volunteer within a recreational setting. This program is also a valuable asset for teens who wish to have future employment at a camp or recreation program. Attendance is required for all classes in order to obtain the LIT certificate. If you do not attend the first class, you will be withdrawn from the program and will be unable to complete the course. This program takes place at the new Xpressions Condominium Space at 9471 Yonge Street. There is no on-site parking available for participants, so please allow extra time for arrival. The entrance to the space is on the Northeast side of the building off of Observatory Lane. Signage will be posted.
