Find your voice and learn to think on your feet. In Intro to Debate, teens build a strong foundation using accessible two-team formats like Public Forum. Each week mixes short lessons, speaking drills, teamwork and mini rounds on real issues teens care about. Students learn how to structure a case, signpost their ideas, take clean flow notes, ask sharp questions and deliver clear rebuttals. We focus on active listening, respectful clash and confident delivery. Shy speakers are welcome and supported to try new roles. Coaching and feedback are built into every class so students see progress fast. The session finishes with a friendly showcase for family where students demonstrate what they have learned. No experience required.
