Description
This specialized fitness class is for those who want to combat osteopenia/osteoporosis as well as for those who would like to prevent this common bone condition. Low impact aerobics movement and the safe use of weights will stimulate bone growth, strengthen muscles, improve dynamic balance and coordination, and increase energy. Participants should wear loose, comfortable clothing and running shoes. Register for this class if you have not had a spine or hip fracture after the age of 50 or do not have a T score less than minus 2.5.
