As we age, our nutritional needs and sensitivity to food-borne risks can change. This interactive workshop explores practical ways to keep food safe at home while maintaining a nutritious and enjoyable diet. Participants will learn how to properly store, prepare, and handle foods; understand Canada’s Food Guide recommendations; and clear up common nutrition myths. Build confidence in the kitchen, support healthy aging, and enjoy food that is both safe and satisfying. Complimentary refreshments will be provided; and the opportunity to join in on interactive games where participants will get to know fellow members of the community.
