Description

To participate in this Aquatic Employment Screening you must:

-Have applied online to: https://jobs.richmondhill.ca/ for the Aquatic Employment job posting,
-Be at least 15 years of age,
-Have a valid National Lifeguard or Lifesaving Society Instructor certification.

Non-applicants will be removed from this program. Applicants may only be registered in 1 Aquatic Employment Screening at a time. If registered in multiple screenings, you will be withdrawn from all.

Candidates should check in with reception prior to their screening start time to gain access to the changeroom and change into their bathing suit. Candidates will be admitted to the pool area at the start time of their screening.

Proof of aquatic certification and a valid government issued ID will be verified by the Screening Conductor at the beginning of screening (photos or copies are acceptable). If the name on the candidates Government ID, Active Net profile and Lifesaving Society certifications doesn't match, make adjustments prior to the day of the screening.

Once verified, candidates will be asked to perform various NL skills to the City of Richmond Hill's standards. Candidates who are unwell or unable to complete any of the skills within 2 attempts will FAIL the Aquatic Employment Screening and will be asked to leave.

Before leaving all candidates will receive a letter advising them of their next steps in the recruitment process. Successful completion of this screening does not mean you will be interviewed or hired.
