Description

Designed for youth with disabilities or who have challenges related to motor development and want to engage in community activities in a group setting. The instructor will offer a supportive environment where teens can learn about badminton. Participants will learn about the basics of the sport such as proper footwork, serves and returns, net shots, back shots, scoring and other important Badminton skills all while having fun playing the game. This program focuses on fun while fostering socialization through teaching teamwork, cooperation, and sportsmanship. Participants needing 1-on-1 support are encouraged to bring a support person.
