Description

Program designed for families and their young children to skate and attend together!

Interactive on ice activity zones set up for families and their young children to play, learn and enjoy time together using shopping carts, sleds, and playing with giant blocks.

Staff available to provide skating tips to new skaters to help customers gain confidence on the ice.

Enjoy a Hockey Zone set up for parents, their toddlers and young children to try the sport of hockey or ringette, the zone is not for experienced players.


Registration:
  • Pre-registration available 2 days in advance starting at 8am for residents and 10am for non-residents
  • Maximum 60 skaters
  • External private lessons not permitted


Equipment tips:
  • Bike helmets not made for ice and therefore not permitted
  • Children 11yrs and under require hockey or snowboarding helmet
  • Skates required to participate, ice cleats not permitted
  • Personal skating aids not permitted, 20 city supplied available
  • Wheelchair and strollers permitted, free helmet supplied
