Description

Have you always wanted to learn to skate? Learn fundamental skating skills in a supportive and fun adult only program. Participants new to skating learn to balance, glide, use edges, develop a stride, and be introduced to snowplow stopping and backwards skating.

  • Register for only one class per set
  • Helmet made for ice sport mandatory
  • Skates and helmet included in program fee

Assessment: Unsure if this is the correct level or taken a Level 1 in another community, drop in assessment highly recommended and offered during Public Skates to confirm skating ability and correct level registration. Further assessment information contact skating@portcoquitlam.ca.
