Description

A physical and mental practice, focused on lengthening the body, while stilling the mind. Yin poses are passive, performed on the floor and held for approximately 2-5 minutes. Yin practice is focused on moving past the muscular level and into the connective tissues, with integration of breath and body awareness. Yin helps to improve flexibility, increase circulation, aid in stress relief and promote relaxation.
