Description

Join us for a focused immersion into traditional leatherworking. Over two days (two four-hour sessions), you’ll create your very own satchel from quality materials that will last a lifetime. Using premium full-grain leather, participants will hand stitch their project using a saddle stitch and learn to prepare and finish the material, including burnishing and using an edge beveller. The finished satchel is roughly large enough to hold a laptop or tablet computer. Program supplies are included in the cost of registration; light refreshments will be served. Previous completion of “Introduction to leatherwork” (notebook slipcover) is not required.
