Build real and virtual LEGO® projects at home using the new LEGO set provided and a home computer. Learn LEGO building techniques as you construct several mechanical Technic projects. Develop a Technic project. Learn to use LEGO Studio 2.0, a LEGO CAD program, build a variety of virtual engineering and architecture projects. Build a virtual LEGO MinecraftTM project. Create online instructions for a Technic build. Render virtual LEGO® projects to look incredibly real. Using a virtual robot, learn to code and simulate robot sounds and movements online. Perform maze navigation as well as object and colour detection challenges. Learn about electronic concepts, components and circuits, and breadboard in a safe virtual environment. Requires a PC or MacTM, laptop or desktop computer (not a ChromebookTM) to run Studio 2.0 and connect to Zoom®. Download and install Studio 2.0 prior to the first class. More information provided at registration. Includes LEGO set - available for pickup before the start of classes.
