National Lifeguard and Airway Management

Prerequisites: 15 years of age by last day of course, Bronze Cross, Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid, or SFA from a training agency approved by the Ontario government. The list of approved agencies can be found at lifesavingsociety.com . Expired Bronze Cross certificates are accepted for this course.

National award emphasizing teamwork, leadership, communication, accident prevention, and management of aquatic emergencies. Airway Management certification included. Required additional 2-hour assignment. Manual required at additional cost.
