Description

This class utilizes a 1:4 instructor to participant ratio to ensure children build confidence and have fun on the ice. Participants will be taught basic skating skills including: balancing on two feet, touching toes, walking forwards, marching, and falling down and getting up. Note: Skate rentals are available for an extra fee payable at time of registration at Karen Magnussen and Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centres; helmet rentals are free of charge. Helmets are required for all lesson participants (adults and children) as per NVRC Policy.
