Description

Join Indigenous artist Laurine Daniels (Squamish Nation) and create a red dress pin in a two-week beading workshop series that honours the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. Beadwork has been, and will continue to be, significant in representing Indigenous resiliency as well as highlighting the distinct cultural value of Indigenous peoples. Beading can be very grounding and a way to express yourself. Participate in the workshops and learn how to bead and create your own pin. All supplies will be provided.
