Description
This course is for participants who know the basic rules and strategy of Pickleball, and have at least a few months of playing experience. The course will focus on reviewing and refining fundamental skills, and improving the execution of the key shots of the sport. This course is ideal for participants who want to reduce unforced errors and want to improve their overall consistency. It is designed for players who want to work towards becoming intermediate level players.
Topics to be covered include:
Service / Return of Service: Getting the ball deep
The Third Shot Options
Forehand/Backhand Groundstroke
Using the shuffle step to have success at the kitchen line
Footwork / Paddle Angle Fundamentals: Tips for avoiding mishits
Working effectively with your doubles partner
Participants will be taught the strategy of "building a winning rally" through a series of purposeful shots
