Description
PreCanSkate (Parent & Tot) is for beginners (ages 3+) who have never skated before or who are not confident with their balance on the ice. Skaters will work on the essentials needed to move safely and effectively on the ice.
PreCanSkate (Parent & Tot) consists of 8 skills:
- Balance on 2 feet
- Fall down and get up
- Move forward
- Move backwards
- Make snow
- Twist
- March around on the spot
- 2 feet twist on the spot
- Jump on the spot
Required Equipment: CSA Approved Hockey Helmet required for all children and ice skates for both the skater and on ice adult.
This program requires parental participation on the ice. Skater Insurance is already included in the program fees, and the additional adult insurance fee of $60 will be added at check out.
*Registration Deadline is two weeks prior to the class start date.
