Description

Join us for hands-on woodworking classes held at The Exchange, its very own Wood Studio. Led by an experienced instructor, each session gives you the opportunity to safely learn basic operations of wood working equipment.

Sessions will cover: Workshop Safety and Band Saw, Table Saw, Small Hand-Held Power Tools, Mitre Saw, Drill Press and Air Nailer, Router, Jointer/Planer, and Lathe.

Important Information: This workshop is recommended for participants with beginner woodworking skills. Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival.

Requirements of Participants:

  • Personal safety glasses (mandatory)
  • Personal hearing protections (recommended)
  • No loose clothing or jewelry
  • Long hair tied back
  • No open toed shoes – steel-toed are ideal but not mandatory
