Kids in the Kitchen - Global Street Food Lab

Path: Culinary Arts Level: Beginner Get ready to cook, create and discover! In this fun, hands-on culinary class, children will learn to cook and bake from scratch while exploring bold, fast, and flavour-packed dishes from around the world; a culinary passport through street food culture. Participants will prepare tasty, age-appropriate recipes that introduce balanced ingredients, build kitchen culinary skills confidence and encourage adventurous eating. Along the way, children will develop practical food preparation skills, kitchen safety, teamwork and an appreciation for nutritious choices they can enjoy at home. Please bring a dish towel, reusable container and a folder to collect recipes.
