Colour in Motion – Break Some Rules – Watercolour and Mixed Media

Participants will explore how to bring everyday still life, floral and creative subjects to life through a playful layering of media, including watercolour washes, pastel highlights, expressive ink lines, and coloured pencil detailing. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on experimentation, learners will discover how to balance structure and spontaneity — build rich texture and exciting design while learning key techniques such as wet-on-wet blending, controlled bleeding, and mixed-media layering.
