Description

The Leaders In Training (LIT) program offers youth a chance to learn, develop and practice leadership skills alongside our experienced leaders and mentors. Participants attend training sessions covering group management, teamwork, safety, and leading games and activities. After training, LITs volunteer in areas like aquatics, arena services, afterschool programs and camps, exploring their interests within the Recreation and Parks department. Each LIT receives a recognition certificate and letter after completing volunteer hours.
