in Swimmer 8 (Ranger Patrol) swimmers continue to improve their strokes, fitness and lifesaving skills. Fitness levels are increased through an introduction to water sports and a 200m timed swim. Lifesaving skills included in this level are non-contact rescues, stride entries and eggbeater kick.
