Description
Learn to build a simple vermicompost system that can be kept under your kitchen sink or on the balcony. Participants will learn about soil health, tips for a successful worm bin maintenance and about worm compost tea. Participants will also come away with an immediately usable composting system and the know-how to do it again or teach someone else. Vermicompost materials will be provided for each participant. In partnership with Zawadi Farm.
Please note: This workshop is designed for ages 13+. Participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
