Description

Attention film lovers! This April, we recognize Genocide Remembrance, Condemnation and Prevention Month, with a special discussion of Hotel Rwanda (2004).

Watch at home on Kanopy, or join us before the discussion for an auditorium screening at 5:30 pm!

Inspired by true events, this film takes place in Rwanda in the 1990s when more than a million Tutsis were killed in a genocide that went mostly unnoticed by the rest of the world. Hotel own Paul Rusesabagina houses over a thousand refugees in his hotel in an attempt to save their lives.
