Description
These intermediate swimmers swim 5 m underwater and achieve the Canadian Swim to Survive® Standard: roll into deep water, tread 1 min. and swim 50 m. Front crawl, back crawl, whip kick are worked on over longer distances and breaststroke arms drill is introduced. They'll cap it all off with front crawl sprints over 25 m and 2 x 25 m front or back crawl interval training. Recommended completed Swim For Life 5. Class Length: 45 min. Please note: Due to a revised safety standard, the diving skills in Learn to Swim levels 5 and higher will not be taught at the Frank McKechnie, River Grove, and South Common pools.
