Description
Bronze Medallion Exam Challenge is for those candidates that require a recertification of their original Bronze Medallion certification if after 2 years, or need to attend another exam. The candidate should seek recommendation from their instructor to re-take the exam. The candidate will be required to perform all test items. They must also bring proof of their original registration in the Bronze Medallion course and proof of 13 years of age, or their original Bronze Star certification on the day of the exam. Proof of Identity: Lifesaving Society requires all candidates taking this course—whether for the first time or as a recertification—to verify their identity on the first day.
To support one's identity, the identification must:
- Be valid (current)
- Include your name and date of birth
- Be issued by a federal, provincial, territorial or state government authority, or equivalent
Acceptable forms of ID can include:
- Driver's license
- Health Card
- Birth Certificate
- Passport
- Permanent Resident (PR) Card
- Canadian Citizenship Card
- Certificate of Indian Status
- Ontario Photo Card
Please remember to bring proof of your prerequisite certifications and valid photo identification on the first day of the course. Unfortunately, without these documents, you won’t be able to continue in the course.
