Prerequisite: 13 years
of age by the end of the course OR hold Bronze Star award (need not be
current).
Materials: Canadian
Lifesaving Manual. Materials are available for purchase at a community centre.
Proof of
Identity: Lifesaving Society requires all candidates taking
this course—whether for the first time or as a recertification—to verify their
identity on the first day.
To
support one's identity, the identification must:
Be valid

name and date of birth
Be issued by a
federal, provincial, territorial or state government authority, or
equivalent
Acceptable
forms of ID can include:
Driver's
license
Health Card
Birth
Certificate
Passport
Permanent
Resident (PR) Card
Canadian

Ontario Photo
Card
Please
remember to bring proof of your prerequisite certifications and valid photo
identification on the first day of the course. Unfortunately, without these
documents, you won’t be able to continue in the course.
