Camp: Leader In Training Level 1

The Leader In Training Level 1 course will help develop leadership skills for youth interested in working in the field of recreation and provides training in the following: leadership and programming of children's activities, inclusion, promoting positive behaviour, communication skills, and instructional techniques for leading arts, crafts and games. PREREQUISITE: PHCD course Principles of Healthy Child Development. Level 1 consists of three days of in class training followed by one week of full day (8hrs) in camp placement, at one of the Summer Camp programs.
