Description
This course develops instructional ability by focusing on how to effectively plan and teach the Starfish Canada swimming program. There is a skills evaluation, an online component and practical teaching experience with a certified instructor. Certification is valid for 2 years.
First day is a skills evaluation (December 6 at BMGC 9am-1pm) and program overview. Then an online portion must be completed prior to the classroom/pool days (Dec 29 / 30 at BMGC from 9am-5:30pm).
