Description

This course develops instructional ability by focusing on how to effectively plan and teach the Starfish Canada swimming program. There is a skills evaluation, an online component and practical teaching experience with a certified instructor. Certification is valid for 2 years. First day (May 24 9:00-12:00pm) is a skills evaluation and program overview at Crestwood Pool. Then an online portion must be completed prior to the classroom/pool days by June 26. June 28 and July 5 are at BMGC 9:00-5:00
