earn how to throw on the pottery wheel! This 8-week course is open to all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced potters looking to expand and refine their techniques. Beginners will build a strong foundation in the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including centering clay, pulling walls, shaping forms, trimming, and glazing finished pieces. Returning students will have the opportunity to develop more advanced forms, improve their technique, and explore new challenges with guidance from the instructor. By the end of the course, you'll have created a variety of functional and decorative ceramic pieces while building confidence and creativity at the wheel. Includes up to 8kg of clay, firing, as well as glazes and underglazes.
