Description
Premier Mix is an 8-week DJ course that takes teens from total beginner to performing their own set, No experience required. With small class sizes students get personalized instructor feedback and hands-on time with professional DJ equipment and software. Classes cover beat matching, cueing, transitions, song structure, playlist building, rhythm, timing, and an introduction to music genres, DJ culture, and etiquette.
By the end of the 8 weeks, students will be able to perform a full DJ set using mixing techniques and understand the fundamentals of live music performance. The course concludes with a mini showcase where students perform for peers and family.
