Description
Learn all about the art of egg tempera and the traditional method of Byzantine Iconography. Using powder pigments and an egg yolk, learn how to prepare your paint and paint an angel using a step by step method. Artists are welcome to paint the subject of their choice, or paint along with the instructor to create a traditional Icon. Learn how to use this beautiful medium in a friendly, and supportive setting. $25 Material fee for powder pigments, special paper and egg will be collected by the instructor. A materials list of watercolour paint brushes and drawing tools will be provided before the class begins.
