Description
Long before modern computers, looms were the original machines that used patterns, logic, and repetition to create complex outcomes. Weaving dates back more than 12,000 years, making it one of the world's oldest-and most innovative-technologies. In this beginner weaving program led by weaver Megan Crouse of Rebel Textile, young learners explore this ancient skill through hands-on weaving on table looms and rigid heddle looms. Working in pairs, participants set up both looms and independently create a woven project on each, encouraging creativity, discovery, and skill-building in a supportive, fun environment.
