Guitar - Level 1 - Introduction to Guitar

This course is designed for complete beginners or those looking to refresh the basics. You will learn how to tune your guitar in different ways and be introduced to common open chord shapes (also known as “cowboy chords”) in the first three frets, including major, minor, and seventh chords. You'll practice basic strumming patterns using both a flat pick and your fingers, and explore simple rhythm and timing concepts. Some introductory theory will help explain how chords are built and used.
