LSS Assistant Instructor

Assistant Instructor □ The Lifesaving Society Assistant Instructor course prepares candidates to help certified instructors with swimming and lifesaving classes. Candidates are introduced to key principles of learning and teaching, and they master basic progressions. The roles and responsibilities of instructors and their assistants are emphasized. Prerequisite: Minimum 14 years of age, Bronze Cross. Required references: Assistant Instructor candidates should bring their Canadian Lifesaving Manual for on-course reference.
