Description
The After-school Active Play Club provides a unique opportunity for Grade 1 to 5 children to engage in unstructured play on their school grounds after the school day ends. Under the light supervision of an adult, children are free to explore, create, and interact, fostering their physical, social, and emotional development.
The goal is to let kids be kids: run around, play, learn about themselves, their friends, and the world around them. After-School Play Clubs will help children move more, socialize and lessen their screen time. Children will meet their Active Play Leader in the Gym.
How to register

Priority is given to children that have not yet attended Active Play Club.
Children register for each three month period separately. The program runs two hours after-school and includes a snack. Daily or weekly registration is not available. Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and this program often fills up quickly. If children miss two consecutive sessions without notice sent to recreation@langleycity.ca they forfeit their spot in the program.
