The Emergency First Aid Instructor Transition Course is designed for Emergency First Aid Instructors to become certified First Aid Instructors. It provides candidates with the knowledge and resources required to organize, plan and deliver Lifesaving Society First Aid awards up to and including Intermediate First Aid.
Candidates must meet all the following prerequisites:
Minimum 18 years of age
Emergency First Aid Instructor
Completed the First Aid Update Course 2026
Lifesaving Society (or another approved agency) Standard or Intermediate First Aid Award
Completion of pre-course assignment.
Note: This eight hour in-person course includes a mandatory pre-course assignment, early registration is strongly encouraged.
