Inclusive swim lessons provide focused swim skill development in a low ratio setting, with 2 staff (1 Swim Instructor and 1 Inclusion Support Worker) to 3 swimmers. An Inclusion Membership is required to register. For sensory sensitive swim lessons, register for Adapted Aquatics.
Lessons are focused on skill development, with a strong emphasis on learning how to swim.
Level 2 Highlights Include:
- Treading Water for 15 seconds
- Whip Kick in a vertical position for 30 seconds with an aid
- Flutter Kick on front, back and sides for 10 metres
- Front Crawl and Back Crawl for 10 metres
- Swim to Survive Skills: Wearing a PFD, Jump into deep water, tread 30 seconds and swim/kick 15 metres
