Description
This is a 4 week session with skills and drills in the first hour, and the second hour used as structured game play to practice those skills covered. The coach will observe and will offer guidance with shots and shot selection. Structured rotation will take place so you will play with everyone in your group. You get to practice what you have learned! We will cover, serve/serve receive options and strategies, court positioning & court responsibilities, etiquette, ground strokes, learn 3 shot drops, using the drop/soft shot, punch and block volleys, resets, the lob and safe lob retrieval, smashes, improving technique and effective partner play. Though often seen as low-impact, players still need enough mobility to react to shots and move laterally without strain. *Players need to have some experience playing and an understanding of scoring, court boundaries and rules.
