Monday to Thursday
9 am to 3 pm
Pre-requisite: 13 years of age or Bronze Star.
Bronze Medallion challenges the candidate both mentally and physically. Judgement, knowledge, skill and fitness - the four components of water rescue form the basis of Bronze Medallion training.
Candidates acquire the assessment and problem-solving skills needed to make good decisions in, on, and around the water.
Bronze Medallion is a pre-requisite for assistant lifeguard training in Bronze Cross.
Due to the intensity of this course 100% attendance is recommended.
Participants must bring their own goggles, and proof of pre-requisites to the course.
The Canadian Lifesaving Manual and the Canadian First Aid manual are the required references for this course. The Canadian First Aid manual and workbook are included in the cost of the course.
