Description
Climate change isn’t a distant issue- it’s already shaping communities across Waterloo Region, including the neighbourhoods where people live, work, and connect. The good news is that there are many ways residents and community groups can be part of the solution.
Join ClimateActionWR for an engaging and interactive workshop designed to help community members understand what climate change looks like locally, where the majority of our community’s emissions come from, and how everyday choices- from transportation to energy use - connect to broader regional climate goals.
This session is built to encourage discussion, questions, and reflection, while sparking practical ideas for action that participants can apply in their homes, neighbourhoods, and community spaces. Whether you’re new to climate topics or already involved in local sustainability efforts, this workshop offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and explore how collective action can help build a more sustainable future for Waterloo Region.
