Participants must bring their own goggles, whistle, and proof of pre-requisites to the course
20 hour course. Pre-requisites: 15 years of age, current Bronze Cross and Emergency First Aid certification. Completion of Swim Instructor is highly recommended prior to taking Lifesaving Instructor. This course develops the instructional ability by focusing on how to effectively plan and teach adults, water rescue and Lifesaving skills development. Other topics include learner types, physical principles of swimming. Upon successful completion of the course, candidates are certified as Lifesaving Instructors.
Due to the intensity of this program 100% attendance is mandatory.
